Shabbat Service: Preparing for Elul
Friday, September 3, 6 p.m.
Rabbi Azriel and Cantor Shermet will lead the service. Worship services will provide an opportunity for congregants to take a spiritual accounting of themselves and to reflect on the past year. An introspective experience as the work of Teshuvah begins, preparing for Elul will involve personal contemplation, inspiration and discussion.

S'lichot Service
Saturday, September 4, 7:30 p.m.
S’lichot comes from the Hebrew word for “apology.” Coming just before the High Holidays, S’lichot reminds us to take action toward forgiveness, reconciliation, and growth. The service contains meditations and prayers that reflect Judaism’s constant call for tsuvah, for the movement from the person you are to the person you can become. Havdalah begins the evening which ends with a chocolate Oneg, sponsored by Women of Reform Judaism.
