We are a warm and inclusive community of 770 families in which people know and care about each other.  Our caring and compassionate clergy are there to comfort you when you have lost a loved one and rejoice with you when you celebrate the simchas in your life.  We are supportive of our interfaith families and helpful to them as they make Jewish choices.   We cultivate a beautiful culture of prayer.  We strive to bridge tradition and modernity, so that worship links our precious history with fresh approaches to spirituality.  We commit great time and energy to weaving a vibrant tapestry of lifelong Jewish learning.  The Temple Israel family passionately pursues social justice.  We organize ample opportunities for our congregants to make a difference.  We are dedicated to tikkun olam, doing our part to heal the world through gemilut chasadim, acts of loving kindness.
